Lease Thread :)
Hello BMW enthusiasts !!!
I try to get quotes for a base model X1 sDrive28i. 36 Months and 15k miles I emailed couple of dealers - I live in the DFW area. So far, one wanted me to come before giving me any detailed information (just the month price) .... A second one is giving me that : Residual : 57% Money factor : .00121 7 security deposits=4200 MSRP : $35,640 Sells price: $33,440 Monthly Payment: $519 (Include taxes, this is Texas ) That sounds high considering the security deposits !! A third dealer gave me this : (Very details, he scanned me the sticker price + screen cap of the calculation ) Options : Heated seats (in Texas !! Seriously lol), Panoramic sunroof, wood trim Residual : 57% Money factor : .00170 MSRP : $33,945 Sells price : $32,445 Doc fee : $125 Acquisition fee : $925 License fee : $64 Cap fees + taxes : $2090 Gross Cap Cost : $33,375 Net Cap cost : $35,461 Payment at Delivery : $800 Monthly Payment: $540 (Tax included) Any thoughts ? Thanks for the help guys ! |

I forgot the specifics as I don't have it in front of me. But my build is a X1 35 Msport with the only option being Heated Seats. I did not get leather. Hope I don't regret that. The black 'ette looks decent and we have a large dog.
I negotiated $500 over invoice. MSRP was $42,000. I believe purchase price was around $38k. Forgive me as I don't remember. But I have the same residual (57%), but mine is an ordered 2013. I put down max security deposits. 7 = $3,850. Some fees (don't know if I got hosed there). Bank fee - $725 Dealer Conveyance - $399 Upgraded license plate for CT "Save the Sound" - $235 Monthly payment is $534.48 w/ CT taxes Based on 36 months and 15k miles a year. She is on US soil as of yesterday and we should take delivery next week! FWIW: You should negotiate up from Invoice pricing not down from MSRP. My price of $500 over invoice was no haggle. I told him that was what I was willing to pay and he obliged. Another dealer quoted me the same in the next town over just with a phone call. I went with my local dealer for obvious reasons. Good luck!

Nice !! Hope you enjoy your ride
Honestly I do not think you will miss the "true" leather ! The leatherette is already pretty neat ! If you did not put anything down, you got a good deal !! Thank you for sharing with me |

I've seen some dealers in So Cali offer $229 a month with $3200 down for 3 years 10k miles a mo for a base model X1.
By the way.. The MSRP seems high for base. What options are in those? |

Here's some of the current lease offers going for the X1
http://www.bmwusa.com/standard/conte...offer=leasing# Those are probably calculated with 10K per year mileage. However if you go to their online calculator you can set it up to 15K per year and it will estimate the payment based on your state. https://www.bmwusa.com/Secured/Conte...eapayment.aspx
