N20 Spark Plug Tool?

Recommendations on what spark plug socket to pick up for an N20? Found the BMS tool on amazon but it looks like it only works for N54 engines? Wanted to pick up a socket/extension combo but I'm not finding one in 14mm.

You'll need a short 4" extension as well, pick that up anywhere for cheap.

That's a decent price although it excludes shipping.

May I know the length of this socket?

So has anyone replaced coil packs along with the spark plugs?

I changed the spark plugs this weekend and was rewarded with a much smoother idle. I mentioned this to a buddy today and he asked if I also changed the coil packs? The coil packs looked okay, and I didn't see anything in the maintenance plan about replacing them.

Depends on your mileage. Don't see coil packs requiring regular replacements. However if you do change the coils, you might as well change the wires too.

If that's the case, I'm only at 56K miles right now, so I think I'll wait to change the coil packs when I change out the spark plugs next time.

And to anyone changing out the spark plugs on the N20: make sure you firmly push the wire connector into the coil pack for cylinder four. It's the most difficult plug to get to, and when I reinstalled everything the first time I didn't have the connector in all the way.
