Scheduled maintenance not listed in manual

I have searched and read threads but have seen little in recommend maintenance items like engine coolant and trans and diff fluid. I know in the past most of these were consider "lifetime" but I don't mind keeping up with th car.

I have a chart with all the schedule maintenance for the X1: Coolant flush - 3yr; Auto Tranny - fluid/filter 50k/2yr; Manual Tranny - fluid 50k/2yr; Diff fluid - 50k/2yr.

Source? There's no way BMW recommends transmission and diff fluid replacements every 2 years, when it's rumored to be a "lifetime" fluid if you ask the dealership.
