As for the wheels, I am not sold on them yet. I like them, but I am open to others.

If I do go with those, then leave the +35 alone in front and add a spacer to the rear. Twix recommended +12-15 so that means a 20mm spacer. Does that sound right?

Thanks for the help guys. I know this topic has been beat to death, but it is hard to find info to match exactly the need.
I ran a 20mm spacer on an ET40 9" wide wheel and it stuck out too far (borderline past the fender). with an ET35, you probably would like something more like a 10mm spacer.

12-15mm spacer will work, 20mm might be a bit too much.

If you don't mind me asking, where have you been looking for wheels?

Ok, 10mm seems good to me.

I have just started hunting actually. I have been searching all the different forums to see what others had for sale used, Discount Tire, Tire Rack, and others.

The amount of choices is staggering ya know. My goal is to keep the stock wheels with the P7 RF's for winter use and have the new wheels with a more summer tire. Not the stickiest as I want it to be quiet, but better than the P7.

The main idea is to cut the wheel weight down. The TSW Bathurst wheel weigh in at 18.6lbs which is quite light for the price.

I am open to any suggestions on a good place to find a set of wheels.

Find a good tuner shop or wheel only shop. You'll get the best info out of them. I haven't heard of anyone I know using TSW wheels, so I can't comment on their quality.

As for tires, I've probably used 1000 tires in my life. Michelin is always my go to brand, and has been that way long before the PSS came out. I also really like Bridgestone for performance tires. The PSS is probably the best tire I've ever had on the street, it's grippy in the wet and quiet. They're also inexpensive. The only downside is wear. My tires are/were rated for 50000kms (30000mi or so) and I'll be damned if I can get 20000 out of them, but I do drive like an asshole.

Best bet, keep those wheels in mind, but head out to a local meet up with different types of cars, like cars & coffee or something and ask around. If there's a couple of places that seem to be coming up in conversations, walk in and start asking questions.

When I bought my wheels, I originally wanted an HRE in stock 18" sizes then I was gonna run spacers. I'm glad I got talked out of that and into my current setup. I couldn't be happier with my Work and PSS staggered setup.

Hehe, that seems to be easier said than done! Most of the wheel shops are into 26" dub stuff.

There are s couple of speed shops I might be able to drop by but they want and arm and a leg for stuff.

Going to Mecum auction with my son tomorrow. WOOT!

Ok, how about this setup.

18x9.5 +35 front
18x10 +25 rear

I found some great looking wheels local here in that size for the E9x. Perfect shape, but the sizes have me concerned.

I would go with the 255 front maybe, but the rear has me wondering what is close height wise. Recommended tire size?

Anyways, tell me what you think of fitament. I think they are probably too wide.

EDIT - Ok, willtheyfit.com shows that they will be 20.4mm closer to the strut (no problem) but 30.5mm further out which I think it going to be too much.

Those fronts are wide. The rears will stick out way too much.

With 255s on the front. it'll be .4" out from stock with 9.5/35ET. It'd work, IMO, but it is 3/4" closer to the suspension. The rears with 265s will stick out almost an inch from stock. I'm @ 1.4, and it's too far, IMO (275)
