BMW xDrive23d Towing Capacity

All,

Im getting mixed information as to what exactly is the towing capacity of the X1 xdrive23d.

Im in AU, and the .com.au site says 1400KG, but the UK xdrive23d says 2000KG.

So what is correct?

Differnet countries, different laws, even our states have different towing laws from eachother. I thought it was 1600kg for aus for some reason, but if the info you have says 1400 kg braked then that'd be correct
