FM intercooler?

I'm debating on a FMIC. Not for the track, but for engine longevity

I just did almost every seal. It definitely lightened the pocket book.

I don't plan on getting rid of it (why would I think such a thing).

Would an intercooler extend/protect the engine?

A larger FMIC provides increased cooling for intake air. Not really increases longevity except when you increase power via a tune like increasing boost...

Have you replaced your OEM charge pipe? What year and how many miles?

I really don't run it hard. I did the charge pipe, MHD right off the bat.

It's knocking on 72k.
