Very nice. Love those wheels.

It looks like the dash trim isn't very well aligned with the dash material. Is that just an artifact of the lighting in the car, or is it actually not that well lined up?

How do you feel about the materials in the cabin compared to say a current model X3 or XC60 or Q5? What did you cross-shop the X1 with?

My wife is looking at getting one when we turn in her current X3 next spring (if they're available in the states by then).

Hi ya

Everything is lined up as it should. Probably my dodgy photography skills and light conditions. I had an E90 before and I have to admit the interior took a bit of getting used to. It's just a bit more modern looking.

I have to admit though there is the odd think that does feel as sturdy as in the E90, for example, the glove compartment feels a bit plasticy, if that makes sense. You either like it or hate it.

My wife loves it so I think your wife should be thrilled with it.

One option I would highly recommend is the HK sound option. Bit on the expensive side for a speaker upgrade but when you hear it, the money aspect is forgotten about.

Hi beeker. newbie here just debating ordering an x1.

How do you find the red/brown leather? Looks quite light in your pics, but appreciate pics are deceiving. I've looked at the same model, same wheels but in black sapphire with the red/brown leather. Want to see the leather before ordering though - I've had red leather in my last 2 cars but just want to be sure with this colour

Hi ya

I was a bit nervous about ordering the red/brown leather but it looks fantastic. It's a bit darker than than whats shown in the pics but not bright red. I think what puts people off is because it says brown in the name. I wouldn't worry about ordering it at all, you won't be dissappointed.

I will take some night shot next week as I'm off on my hols from tomorrow.

If anyone has anymore question I will be pleased to help answer them if I can.

Thanks a lot.

I've actually gone ahead and ordered it now. I've had red in my last 2 cars and put one of the BMW sample pieces against my current 1 series red leather and noticed a difference, looked more of a reddy tan - and I thought it looked great. I've ordered a black sapphire x20d and think the combo should look great.

Thanks again - looking forward to getting mine now, although a looooong wait (September!)
