Bonus 23.1 km in Eco Pro mode from just 148 km of driving?
I have noticed just recently that my bonus km in Eco Pro mode is going up quite abnormally. As a result I'm now on around bonus 30+ km . It's the same usual driving - home and work. Haven't even driven on motorways/freeways. Previously, I was struggling to get it to even 3 km range.
The only thing I can think of is that I coded KOMBI for gear shift indicator which reset the system time, on-board computer etc. Apparently, it seems to only work with manual so I reverted back and had another reset. So, could something have been affected in the process causing Eco Pro mode computer to go crazy? It does fluctuate (go down) on heavy breaking etc and show tips as usual BTW, even when I had 7 l/100 km consumption I was no way near such bonus range Now, I'm on 7.8 l/100 km.

It's summer in your neck of the eucalypt woods. The main "saving" ECO-Pro does is reducing the effect of the air conditioner. The hotter it gets, the more it can turn it down, and the more it can show as "increased range".
Wait for July, and I'm sure it will be down again. |

Does coding generally reset all stored memory parameters in the onboard computer (for avg fuel economy, speed, etc.)?

It resets data in On-board computer (which also includes avg. fuel consumption) and Journey computer along with system time that I'm aware of. I think it even resets speed limit warning settings in the iDrive.

Oh, the board computer calculates. Thank god it is a car and not a rocket because those numbers are way off.
When I see 200km left and I'm driving the engine warm and after I trow the AT in "B" from berserk.... just kidding... S or even driving sportiness in D. Then 40km later I have 40km left. Other direction is possible as well. Calculated the day before one a small trip, day it self I do a lot of highway but at normal constant speed. I don't have a ECO button but my foot and mind does it. Funny was that my distance left was negative one time, it counted -10km. ( 4km trip, starting at 20km left.... ) |
