For all Sdrive 1.8 owners
Hi,
There must be somewhere on the car (I think somewhere on driver's door) manufacturer specs about tyres and wheels size can be used on this car. Car it comes with 225/50/17. I wonder if someone can take a look on that plate and tell me what the manufacturer allows for bigger wheels/tyres. Thanks! |

It doesn't "allow" for different sizes of tires, it merely lists the different sizes originally mounted on X1s, thus enabling BMW to print only one plate for all model/powerplant combinations.
The same information can be found on BMW's website, under X1 Technical Specs.

Ok lets put it otherwise...
Any of you owners having an Sdrive 1.8 150ps petrol X1 have put 18'' wheels on it? If so, how it looks in terms of comfort, consumption and power? |
