Did Mark call you this afternoon? I spoke to him earlier and expressed some concern over front strut clearance....I thought that 8.5 front and 10 rear might be a safer bet.

Garage List
Yeah, we opted for that size. Same tire, less wheel. Same 3" lip on the rears

Winter is well and truly here in Calgary, and having sold the winter tires/wheels and parked the X1 for the season, I'm already missing it. Don't get me wrong, the truck was the required vehicle today with some of the snow drifts around and about, but the X1 was certainly more fun last winter for the majority of the days.

As much as I like the X1 though, it's highly likely I'll be moving it on in the not too distant future. If I'm going to have the truck as my winter DD and general load lugger, the second vehicle doesn't have to be even remotely practical, so I may realize one of my goals and put something like a 997TT in the garage. Still a little deciding to do on my part, but I could well end up posting a for sale thread, at least for the summer wheels and other bits and pieces in fairly short order.

Hi Sky Are You Getting Any Air Noise Between The The Door Glass And Upper Door Frame. I Have Had It Since I Bought This X1. I Dont Think The Rubber Seal On The Door Edge Is Tight Enough. Thanks

Plans have changed a couple of times now, but the long and short of it is that the X1 is going up for sale this weekend, and the truck will likely follow later in the year.

With that in mind, let the sale listings start:-

Work VSXX for sale

That's that then, the X1 has gone to a new home. I certainly enjoyed it while I had it, but I'm moving on to something marginally bigger .... no, not an X3.

@Twix - The buyer was quite happy to keep the KW's on there, so my decision was made simple this time around.

I'm 6'4" and ~240lbs - I have no problems fitting in the X1. I don't know what these people are talking about, either.

Glangford, how is the 328d working out? What MPGs are you getting? Hows the acceleration?
