Auto High Beam Retrofit
Does anyone know what is involved in retrofitting the Auto High Beams?
I have a 2014 where apparently it was a $250 option, which makes me think there are minimal if any hardware changes involved. I have the lighting package already and the ultimate package, and I am very interested in adding this feature, so I'd appreciate any insight. For those of you who already have it, can someone show me how it is activated in the E84? |

Really?? This is the only option I left unticked. I honestly have no idea where I would use it. Maybe you live in the boonies where lots of high beam use is demanded?

I use it all the time but I do have a 10 minute commute on single lane highways. I feel bad for people that come around corners as it take an extra second or two before the car kicks it down.
I would be interested to know what you find. It would be cool to add it to the 335i.

According to the info on this forum that I've found, this was a new option for 2014+.
I still haven't found any info on what is involved in the process, I'm going to reach out to some of the remote retrofit services and see if anyone is able to provide some insight. |
