Considering a X1, how does it compare to 128i?

Considering buying a X1, how does it compare to 128i? Maybe someone did a similar type of switch. Whats your opinion?

EDIT: Sorry, I thought you were comparing to a 328i.

The X1 will drive extremely similarly to a 128i. It uses many of the same parts and has a similar power to weight ratio. The X1 35i uses many of the same parts as the 135i (engine, transmission, steering rack), but the 128i has the old non-turbo inline 6. I find the 128i's engine more enjoyable to hammer on, but the engine in the X1 28i is more powerful and has far more torque.

We trade our 135i on our X1. They're very similar, aside from the awd and added practicality.
