Dash Storage

For those that don't have Nav, how hard is the dash storage door to open?

I push the latch up, but I really have to force it up using the button to open? Is that the normal operation, or does pushing the latch gently and then the door opens on its own the norm?

Sounds normal. I just push the button upwards helping me open it. I'm not too fond of the design, but its a nifty storage unit.

Sound about right. Mine is the same way, need to push it pretty hard and it opens with loud bang. Not a great design but very nice storage area.

My doesn't require any undo force, simply pressing it, pops it open. It is the 2014 model.

I've noticed that if I press it on top while unlocking it opens up nicely.
