New X1 xDrive18d is here!

Hi All

Have now had our new X1 xDrive18d for a week!

Just had all the paintwork, glass, wheels and plastics treated by G-Techniq today. Thanks to Rob and the team for their excellent work again.

One slightly weird thing is related to the Park Assist – Front & Rear. Should the Park Assist button located in the lower dash console stay lit ‘on’ when you switch the car off and back on again? I’ve found that the button light has a bit of a mind of its own and turns itself off and on at will.

Hi LRS, lovely car and pics thanks.

I have also noticed that about the PA. However I have noticed that its quite clever in the way it does it. If you have been parking and turned it on manually (going forward) it remembers that it was on when you start the car again. If it was not on it only turns on when you select reverse but then stays on for forward gear as well as long as its very very slow. As soon as you speed up it turns itself off again. I think its by design, clever that.

Thanks for the pics! It looks great! I'm going to kill myself rather then wait for my X1 to arrive.
