Don't know if there are official power kits for e84.

No, but I've looked at the PDF's for the N55 power kit and it should work with the X1 35i. The only thing is, we'd need the version that replaces the ECU so you'll never convince a BMW dealer to install it for you.

Apparently the Dinan upgrade is supported now. Just find a BMW dealer who is also a Dinan dealer for full warranty support.

Officially as if 4/1/13 I believe (for the 35i).

If you read the mods sticky, I posted about the Dinan stage 2 they tested with my car last week at the R&D shop in Morgan Hill CA. Dinan told me when i got back my car that Stage 2 will/ is available now. It fits this car like a glove.
