Steering wheel hot at 10 and 2 position

As anyone noticed that their steering wheel is hot and the 10 and 2 position, with the heated steering wheel function off?
I am wondering if the steering wheel heats up automatically to a warm temp with the heat on even without using the button?

Not that I've noticed.
When it's on, it's ON. I can usually only stand 10 mins before I turn it off.
