Comfort access rear door handles
Just wondering if other people with comfort access can open the rear doors when the car is locked. The front doors respond immediately, but nothing happens if I try the back doors. I have a "glitch" in the main computer so the car will be going to the dealers and didn't know if I would have to have them look at the rear doors also.

Or put your hand in the front door handle for a second then open the rear

That only comes on some of the more 'spensive models.

Zeevette, to expand on Tracus' post. From the main menu, go into vehicle settings, should be a setting that says 'lock' or something like that. Call me crazy, but I set mine to unlock only the driver's door one that side to avoid unnecessary wear on the other three lock servos.

Call me crazy, but I am using the wipers as less as possible to not scratch the windshield... Makes sense? (It is however bombarded by the gravel that the city throws on the streets.. ) |

My technical argument is sound: the servos are rated to a certain number of cycles, the more you use them the shorter they last. I did, however, preface that argument with 'call me crazy' not 'stupid' to avoid using windshield wipers :P. Welcome to the world of an OCD who waxes his tool chest and cleans his drill bits after each use.

I throw my drill bits is the metal bin after I use them maybe 3-4 times. Cheaper to borrow them from work than buy a drill doctor.

I can't do any home improvement projects without beer. The alcohol really helps me accept the builders' 'that's close enough' dimensional tolerances.
