Hi please help me if you can my sunshade is stuck in open position and doesn’t move. When I try to initialise it I get an anti trap warning and the front part of moon roof tilts up but then nothing else. I can hear a click noise when I press the close button. Any help would be appreciated.

How did you manage to complete yourself, do you have a video or instructions you can share?

From what I have found, the cheapest solution is to decode the sunroof. Via coding; disable the comfort open sunroof and disable the sunroof button completely. This way the sunshade/liner cannot accidentally be moved back into the roof. I live in South Florida and have chosen this option as it’s generally too hot for the sunroof to be open.

The more expensive way requires removing the entire headliner (need two people for the job). The sunroof has to be disassembled and then there are some small plastic pieces that are broken inside the sunroof cassette. They have to be replaced for the non sliding sunshade panels.

The dealer charges a lot be cause they need to guys and have to disassemble/reassemble a large amount of the interior.

[QUOTE=Rick Castro;29604228]sunshade ,i can help you if you still need help.contact me

I’m new here (opened an account today!) and the app won’t let me message you, Rick - but I’d love to get your advice on my sun shade issue. I need to earn the right to message users - so I’m going to start posting etc but maybe if you message me, I can reply to it?? I’d appreciate any advice at all on the topic. Thank you!

Same issue here with the slides not operating but the glass does. A local small euro service shop wouldn't touch it, and neither would a local upholstery and glass place with sunroof experience. Waiting for a quote from the dealer, but Fuse #25 is pulled for now to disable the switch.
