I owned a C7 Z51 and have driven the C6 Z06 extensively. The Z06 is a faster car but not by much compared to a Z51. However, the C7, IMO, is a better overall car... liveability, interior quality, tech, etc.

The C7 GS will be that much better again. It will be faster than a C6 Z06 in all measures other than a drag strip IMO.

I'd keep my C6Z or buy a C6 ZR1 before I bought a stock C7 GS. Heavily modified C7 GS? I might make the swap. I'd sell my C6Z for a C7Z today, though.

Love the fact the mustang gt350 and the Corvette run the same 0 to 150 time. Corvettes just hook up better.

The C7 GS and GT350 are both on my short list for my next car. Leaning toward the GT350 due to lower price, more utility, concealed storage/trunk, and my preference for Ford's telematics over GMs. I did drive a Z51 C7 on track and it was pretty damn good though.

The C7 beats the GT350 in about every way possible yet the GT350 won. Makes sense. You know, it beats it in every performance category, while getting better gas mileage and being quieter, being nicer with more features.
