Very good news for me. My car has it.

Extra info:
My car doesn't have the sport, M sport, X-line, it does have the xdrive and AT (with shift paddles on the sterringwheel).
My car has the standard suspension (2010, pre LCI model).

When I use the configurator for the latest X1 you could take the 'performance control' option seperated from other option (but my selection was the 2.5d xdrive AT to be correct, don't know if it maters).

Now... I will verify the info at the BMW Drivingcenter. Somethimes dealers say what you want to hear of just give you fals information.

If that is true then it's good news for people that want to have it retrofitted.
Dealers and coding is a problem however, they just don't know how to do it so they will give you all sort of info and excuses.

Since it is software it should cost same price as the option new, maybe + the time they need to code it (and they're very slow with that).
Better ask several dealers for it and perhaps the BMW inporter in your region.
