Its probably one of the most refreshing / real cities in this nation imho... having lived in one of the most communist areas in the nation, it was like being let out of a cage.

How else are you going to make money when the state is all about retirees that crowd your local diner for the Early Bird Special or argue for 5 minutes over an expired $0.50 coupon, or for car lovers to fight the wrath of lovebug swarms? Earlier today, I'm sure you're familiar with la jolla, I was at the utc mall since the super sport (24 hrfitness) is connected, and I left t at valet since it was peak hour.

When I came out the valet attendant left me a note that someone wrote offering to buy the car from me, with the dudes number.

Only in la jolla.

I did call just to let him know that I'm not interested right now, but perhaps in a year. He then went on saying it was the most beautiful BMW he's ever seen.

At which I replied "I know"

I live in boring suburbs, and nice cars don't get too much love here.

M gets lots of attention from BMW owners, but not from average people.
GTR gets attention from younger and Sti/evo/370z crowed mainly.

That's actually a fair breakdown. I could see the GTR crowd as you described it. I imagine all the Cerritos kids.

So far- only a 5 series (e39) has been a dick and cut me off. I laughed.
