You can see mine on the pics below, goes OK with black I think. Just for interest that wheel arch/mud flab join is much less visible than on the pic. Think it was just the light on the day.

Moscow dealers offer them for EUR 180, I go for it, much less mud spraying from your wheels on your car and behind.

Yep, BMW originals and dealer fitted on delivery. If I recall they only charged me £75 for them so a bit of a bargain. One reason I usually fit mud flaps is to prevent stone chips on the body. We have a lot of grit lying around on the roads in winter.

Now can anyone tell me where to get a car-bra

nice car! "megeia" as they say in Greece! NIIIICCCEEE

The tinting looks very good too! Did you put them on a BMW or elsewhere? I was thinking about them when I ordered and I was told if I want them to be dark-ish then I would have to put them aftersale.

I ordered the White X1 so black tints would be nice

How long did you wait? I ordered in on the 31st Dec and was told end February-Mid March as it has to go to production.

Konstantinos, I've ordered a Mineral White, and my dealer will throw in free paint-chip protection and 3rd party tinting (with anti-shatter protection) where the front windows will be tinted as well, and I can choose the level of tint.

I agree that dark tinting with white goes well - at the showroom there was such a 3-series and it looked very good indeed. I'm excited!

You plan to use it as a tail breaking parachute or as an additional buckle inside?

No, to prevent stone chipping on the front in winter.

Tinting was done at Lummar. I have alu light scale one at the drivers windows and scale three at all back windows. Now that you mentioned about tinting, I dont like the cemicircle defoging lines at the back window. After tinting they are somehow disturbs the visibilty at night. They are just to visible. You should have noticed that at night. I would prefer straight horizontal lines instead.

Car was ordered on Oct 20th and delivered on Dec 15th, exactly on the date the dealer told me when I put the order.

Nice wheels dimitri

I also ordered around October but was told that the vehicle wouldn't arrive down under until about February/March 2011. Jealous that you're already enjoying yours. I've just found out that mine is on a boat now and should be here mid February with a delivery to the dealer expected 25 feb. Can't wait!

I think that it has to do with the dealer's capacity for all countries. My dealer has the biggest BMW motorama building in Europe so he continouosly order cars even if there are no buyers so he have an advantage in production priority. He then can make the necessary changes when there is a buyer until production is finally closed. Delivery time depends on that.

Car is nice in silver Mario. I see you kept the standard alloys which I think are gorgeous.

Picked up my rubber boot tray & floor mats today. Will fit them tomorrow after giving inside a good clean. With recent weather stabdard velour mats are filthy.

I like your mud flaps and enquired today about price. £200 fitted!! Apparently they have to be bonded to bodywork. Not a DIY job.

Hi Dave, not what my dealer said. He told me they just screw on. They do take off the wheels though. I don't think they charged me for the labour but £200 sounds a bit steep, think they have added a lot of installation costs to your price. If you want I can go and have a look to see how mine are fitted over the weekend. Would do so now but it's a bit crappy outside

Yep, I love the standard rims, look real chunky and are easy to keep clean.

That would be very helpful Mario. No rush though. I've had to put off changing my mats today due to the weather. It is supposed to be drier over the next few days so fingers crossed!

Thanks GK, Scotland is a beautiful country. For those that know the area those pics were taken near Kinloch Rannoch with Schiehallion (the mountain) in the background.

Did some light offroading there in the X1.
