Thermometer not accurate

Any ideas on how I can reset the ambient temp reading in the dash? It is a good 15+ degrees too low.

He's in Costa Mesa, CA, and it's April. There's no way the difference between C and F figures is 15 (that happens at around -21C/-6F).

More likely, the thermometer probe or surrounding area got wet.

You probably need your thermometer replaced. That was the case when the same happened to me in my E46 years ago. Take it to the dealer, they will either reset or replace.
