easy way to fix scratch in rear diffuser?

I got my x1 smashed when I used to park my car in the street. So, started renting garage nearby. Today, though I was reluctant, I left my car in the street and after just couple hours got it scratched there was a very tight space behind me and some d*** didn't care about the size of his car and squeezed in with not so small hatch. I saw that car behind me and the space was so tight I had a doubt that it might have touched my X1 at some point somewhere. Had a quick look but didn't find anything then but after it left saw a small scratch.

Lesson learned: if there's tight space in front/behind you, better cover it up.

So any suggestion would be great. Thanks.

There's a really good "tutorial" from ammo nyc on YouTube that's about fixing chips and such. His process is pretty thorough.

Same thing happened to me, I just bought a new diffuser from ECS tuning. Was like $90.

Thanks guys for the suggestions but I was thinking more like touch-up paint kinda solution don't need it to be perfect... it's a small scratch so buying a whole new diffuser is bit extreme for me

If you find out the paint color let me know, my wife scratched ours today. I sent an email to a BMW parts manager to see if I can buy a paint stick or spray.

I found a pretty good match today to fix my diffuser deep scratches. My wife backed into something and it totally removed about a 4" strip of the paint about 1/2 wide. Fortunately it was near the bottom on the crease so it's really hard to see. Anyway, I bought Dupli-Color Toyota 1C6 at Advance Auto. It's also called Graphite Grey Pearl and ATY 1600, you should be able to find it at an auto parts store in Australia or maybe a Totota dealer. If you buy it shake the hell out of it, the first coat was almost black but I shook it a couple minutes on coat two and it was almost a perfect match with a shiny metallic slight flake to it. if I scrape my diffuser on my M235 I wouldn't hesitate to use this again. It's $15 but includes clear coat if you want it but I'm not going to use it, it's a brush/pen not spray can.

One word of caution, be careful if your going to do any sanding. I sanded wider than I needed with 1000 and 2000 and then realized because of the shine on the diffuser it was going to take a lot of fine tuning to get the smooth shine. If you sand try and keep it entirely on the part that chipped and is white.

I asked BMW today before going out shopping and they told me they do not have the paint and that's why I tried to match it. I believe they don't sell it because you also can't get the Ferric Grey II B55 wheel paint for my M235. I've searched the Internet many times and the only place selling the exact match is a Hong Kong company. I found out about that from guys in the UK looking for the paint. The U.S. Dealer wanted me to buy a new diffuser for my X1 at $90 which isn't a bad price but it's a freaking scratch so it makes no sense. At least on the M235 I know what paint code to look for but not for the diffuser on the X1.
