X1 V1 Hardwire

Hey guys,

Im trying to hard wire the V1 into the sun roof control panel, but ran into a couple of problems.

1) The sunroof control panel appears to be glued and I don't feel like messing with that unless im 100% sure I can put it back in place without the glue

2) Trying to find a ground, from what I could see there aren't any real bolts inside, so if anyone had found one???

Thanks

The sunroof control panel ?? Are you talking about the overhead console with the reading lights and the sunroof switch in the x1? I've been trying to figure out how to take that down without any success.

There is an easier way to do it. Route the wire along the top of the headliner and down through the dashboard into the passenger side fuse box. Use a wire tap and there is a ground bolt right inside. Done deal. That's what I did and it looks super clean and is removable in 2 minutes.
