The High Speed option has the code 840. But I can not find it on the current option lists...

Garage List
example :
for the x1 20d the top speed is (km/h) 205 (213*) if you have 17' aloy wheels
but if you take 18' inch the top speed is 213*

in the 23d is standart 223 top speed!

Engine cuts the power at 205, keep pushing the pedal for 5 seconds or so and the car will continue speeding up

I suppose it has to do with the speed rating of the tires. If you have the option you will receive tires with an higher speed rating. In the case of 18" wheels you might get this automatically. I explicitly ordered option 840, but then I have 17" wheels.

Interesting, I did not know that. Then again not sure if there is anywhere here I could get up to that speed anyway....except knockhill racing track maybe

The high speed setup comes with the sport-suspension plus 18" rims at least in Spain. But from my point of view it is a really unsuful option because who wants to run at such high speed!! sport-suspension make sense to cornering hard in moutain roads
