E90 wheels on E84?

Would my old winter E90 BMW OEM 17 inch 225/45R17 wheels and tires fit the E84 X1? I understand the speedometer might be off slightly given the 225/45 vs the 225/50 stock size.

I'm pretty sure the offsets are virtually the same and the wheels are fine but I wouldn't go with that shorter diameter tire. 225/45/17 is 3.6% or almost an inch shorter than stock 225/50. Anything over 3% is generally considered too much of a difference.
