2013 X1 28 sdrive Mineral White w M Sport

Attached are a few photos, I included a shot of the paddle shifters and the beige seats since almost all I have seen have been black. My other BMW snuck into one of the photos. Only questionable trim item so far are the Goodyear Efficient Grip performance tires but the ride is pretty smooth so no complaints. The Mineral white looks nice with the Beige because it has a slight gold hue to it.

Very nice! Intersting CUVs coming with the X1 and Macan.

Nice.

did you order Servotronic steering? Does your car have Electronic or Hydraulic steering? How does it feel?

What's the tread rating on your Performance tires?

No Servotronic and this X1 has electronic but the x drives have hydraulic. The steering feels better than I anticipated because there have been some negative reviews about electronic steering in general. I think the only negative is the tires are more for comfort and good mileage verses hard core handling. I think they are V rating but I know M Sport is good for 140 miles per hour.

Absolutely, it a nice ride. It's so much nicer than the 2007 X3 we had and was $47K back in 2007.

Congrats! We are also "upgrading" to the X1 35i from a 2006 X3 3.0i. While I think the interior fit and finish probably isn't as nice, for me the X1 makes up for it in handling and performance.

Very nice! I'm a little surprised by the Goodyears -- I thought Pirelli summer tires are to be standard on the M Sport.

Was this a custom order? If so, did you know you had to specify paddle shifters, or did you get lucky with a dealer that actually knows what's going on? I'm afraid my M Sport isn't going to have them.

they will not as mine didn't but I have a complaint in to BMW and they are looking into it. its been two weeks with no solution.

my x1 35i version came with Pirelli but I did upgrade to the 19 wheels.

In terms of the tires BMW determines the tires by what rims you get, X1driver in Canada got the M Sport with 18's with Goodyears and then mine showed up with the Goodyears. Dealer confirmed they put the same tires on totally based on rim style. Unfortunately you probably won't get the paddle shifters, I caught it on the order form where it comes with sport steering wheel w/o paddle shifters unless you specify the right code.

Good catch. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to see the actual order guide until after my car was built. Furthermore, my order configuration report clearly states "M steering wheel with paddle shifters". Like most, I had no way of knowing they had to be specified. My CA still thinks my car will have them, but I'm sure it won't since they had no idea they had to be ordered separately. Everything on BMW's website indicates they are standard on the M Sport. BMW really screwed this up. If the paddle shifters are a no-cost option, they should be the default configuration with a standard wheel as the option. It's misleading at the very least. I have already prepared my CA for a fight if my car arrives without them.
