Wheel/tire question
Friends, I purchased a set of BMW 698 19" wheels and snow tires (255/50/19) for an M40I. But I am considering an X1 instead and was wondering if that wheel/tire combination would fit on an X1
Thanks. |

Personally I would not try to put those on an X1. The width would be OK, but you are looking at a huge change in height/circumference.
It also looks like these may have a different lug pattern.

Thanks, mate. Looks like the 112 lug pattern is the same, but the offset is 32 for the 698 wheel, and 47 for the 19" compatible with the X1. If I end up with an X1, I will likely get a set of 19" wheels for summer, and keep the 18" for winter. that is what I did on my Audis.

You will almost certainly run into the suspension with that large of a diameter change.

Are you talking about an F48 or E84 X1? Because this is an E84 forum and the E84 has a 5x120 pattern

No problem, you'll just get better responses on any future questions from people who own the same car as you
