Scanguage can now read Transmission temperature

I have been working with the engineers at Scanguage to get the scanguage to read the Tranny temperature in Xdrive 28i,

I can report that they figure it out and i can now have live data of the transmission fluid temp . this is crucial for tranny service when filling it.

this also help with anyone that tows with the X1. keeping temp in check prolong the tranny life.

this is the only aftermarket unit for $140 bucks that can read the temp in real time.

That's cool appreciate that. In my last car I installed a modified pan that had a probe installed. Ran that up to a gauge. I'm assuming its a bit cumbersome to leave it hooked up? Does this unit do any coding?

i use it for a few thing
- battery voltage
- water temp
- tranny temp

This is great! Do you have pictures to show how/where you mount this gauge?

For the 35i MHD will read 62 (currently) different parameters while driving. You can chose which 8 parameters you would like to see in real time as well as log the rest to view later.
