X1 engine loses power when braking hard

Recently when I had to break hard, my engine seems to lose power and I can feel the engine vibrates, it pulsates and vibrate like when the ABS is on but it is not the ABS. Releasing the brake pedal slightly gets rid of the engine stuttering and restores power to the engine. Brought it to test drives at the dealer but can not recreate the problem.

Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Could be a bad brake booster that acts as a vacuum leak when you brake hard. If this were true it would cause the observed behavior even if you slammed on the brake without moving.
