Ki test
A friend who owns a 1 series recently showed me a fancy thing which also works on the X1:
press the trip mileage reset button on the control panel and keep it pressed while you insert the key; release the button and press it again a few times until you see "ki test" on the milage display. Then the car runs the control panel test Apparently if you press the mileage button 19 times, and then you enter some kind of code based on the chassis number, it's also possible to access some hidden menu, and display things like the instantenous battery charge or the true speed (as opposed to the one on the speedometer, which is always a bit lower than the real one). Anybody did it already? |
