Side mirrors stuck

Does anyone happen to know whether the mechanism that parks the side-mirrors flush with the windows is heated together with the actual side-mirror?

I had the problem that my right hand side-mirror couldn’t open after having stood in a Carport during a night with a temperature at 14 deg. F (-10 deg. Celsius).
Fortunately being at home I could use my wife’s hair-dryer which solved the problem, but still. It’s a worry, as in a couple of days it’ll get even colder at -4 deg.F, and I’ll be parking outside at work.
If it is heated it will hopefully dry out the folding mechanism.

Only the glass mirror is heated. You do not need to fold the mirrors all the time.
