Help - X1 Novice - Vibration Issue

Hi

I just got my new X1 3 days ago (previously i had a 1 Series M Sport for 5 years). I have an issue that when in first gear the gear lever and the console seem to vibrate quite loudly, especially if your foot is on the clutch and other foot on the brake. (sorry if my explanation is quie 'basic' - i'm a woman who doesnt understand car :-p)

I've only done about 200 miles in the car so far... but its already irritating me! it doesnt do it in any other gear. Just does it in first.

Is this normal? I dont remember this happening on the 1 Series. And if this is happening when it 3 days old, imagine what its going to be like in 1 years time.

Feedback/comments/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately I think you'll have to live with it. It is not a defect but a characteristic of the 2.0d engine mounted on the X1 and has to do with the clutch. After the engine to warm it gets better. Sorry....
