TOWING X1 M Sport 23D

Hi guys, just thought I would give some feed back.. I am running a 23D M sport and tow my Car trailer and mini with it! It does really well.. it sits at 2000rpm (max tourque) in 6th gear while cruise is set at 110km-h ( Country driving)

I would recommend the car for anyone thinking of towing!

Hayman Reece Tow kit... You dont even know you have it! I would say it tows as well as my parents X5

I've had nothing but good experiences towing with my 23d either. Boat, furniture trailer, trailers full of mulch/soil. She's a powerful little torque monster

Is your 23d a manual?

At 2,000 rpm my auto 23d is doing 100km.

I'm pretty sure the 2.3 is auto only

Manual has been available in the 23d since early 2011 ... it was an option when I ordered my X1.

Tows this very well... approx 1300kg

With 4 people on board driving at around 110-115 in hilly terrain it even managed under 11L/100.

If the X1 is this good the X3 30d must be fantastic.

yes mines a manual. does about 1800rpm at 100km-h
