Rub strips for parking lot protection

Is there a factory rub strip available for the X1s? I'd rather have a matching color, and don't want to fool around painting the part.
Happy for any opinions on the matter as well.
Thnx,
Moon

Nay. I'm pretty sure they don't even exist for other BMW models. You could get the ugly rubber ones from autozone or whatever.

Agreed, that's what I'm trying to avoid, Twix. Black strips would look like chit.
Any other opinions?
Thnx,
Moon

If anything, maybe go to a body shop and ask. There is probably an aftermarket piece that is cheap and cheap for them to paint for you.

Do what I do: park far away from any other vehicle. It's also good exercise to walk a little further.

I've even trained my SO to do the same.

Steve, I hear that, and frequently do the same. I do refuse to be one of the turds who parks their car at 45* in two spaces.
I had rub strips on the Honda Fit; they were an OEM part and painless to install.
They even looked good.

You can always go this route. For the life of me, I can't figure why I see cars on the road driving around with these things hanging off their rear end. Almost as gauche as a boater leaving his fenders over the side while underway.

I have a thing kinda like that; it's attached to the back of my Wrangler.
I fold it down to haul dead deer....
