In Florida fortunately you don't need to deal with front plates

Rhoplate sells one specific to the X1, but for vehicles with NO front parking sensors. Does anyone know of an alternative for X1s with park assist?

I had to modify my plate slightly, but that's because I didn't want to offset fully.

US Millworks

Bought the US Millworks plate holder, but unlike FFEMT510, I have parking sensors. The plate position, as pictured, sets off the parking sensors. Any suggestions on placement? http://www.flickr.com/photos/peckhammer/12245494315/

In Colorado it is required to have a front plate in the center of the vehicle. Like many people I do not run one and have not for many years. If I go to Boulder or Denver I can not park on the street in a metered or timed zone as I will get a $50.00 ticket. Anywhere else in the state it is over looked as long as you are not being an idiot.

Did a little testing today and found that the front plate holder does not trip the parking sensor until I put the car in reverse. Putting the car back in drive will not stop it. The only way to cancel the alarm (beep) is to turn the car off completely and restart, or use the button to turn off the parking sensors. But as soon as you shift into reverse, it starts again. There is an awesome effect that happens when you back up close to something -- the front sensor is a constant beep and the rear sensors are doing a beep beep beep sound. It's a European siren emulation.
