Lighted mirrors retrofit

Can one add the small little lights that come on when you slide the mirror covers over the driver and front passenger sun shades?

You'd have to replace the headliner, for one.

Really? It looks like all one would need to do is make an incision above the visors and add the lights. I'm more concerned as to how to get power to those little lights and how they would turn on when you slid the mirror cover open.

There's a switch in the mirror cover. All you'd need to do is find 12v source with ignition on and run a relay. Honestly it's going to cost you much more than it's worth
