Either way, I'll just stick with the OEMs since they are free under maintenance.
According to RealOEM.com, BMW switched to the low dust pads September 2009. There appear to be several higher performance, low dust aftermarket pad options available if you so desire. Just get 328 pads for your 28i and 335 for your 35i...you know the drill.

So dusty, I could usually wipe them clean with dry shop towels between washes. So dusty, I eventually switched to black wheels on the E46.

hehe...same reason why I went with Anthracite for my winter wheels on my X1. They look "dusted" as soon as I finish cleaning them
Same mentality works in the home too. Wife was agonizing about what color carpet to use throughout the 2nd floor of our house. I put her agony to rest by pulling up a section of the existing carpet where it was dirtiest. We took that pc. to the Carpet store and asked them to match the color. Six yrs later it still looks exactly as it did when we put it down. It may be dirty but dirt doesn't show up on dirt colored carpet.

They should compare the the cars in the braking tests with the same tires. If one is running one some eco tires many BMWs come with today it ofcourse will lose to something with UHP tires, even with M peformance brakes.

That would be practically impossible; not all tire models come in all the sizes used.

NOOOOOO!!!! I literally yelled that out loud when I read your post. Dragging that metallic dust across your dry (PAINTED) wheels... For shame.

As I am interested in Ceramic Brakes/Pads for my X1. If they are available or can be made to order. Your comment- 'due to the ceramic brakes'. Please advise WHAT ceramic brakes. Thanks.
