Jet Black paint issue.
Where I park overnight there is a large sycamore tree which covers my car with sap throughout late spring/early summer. When it rained the car was covered in seed pods. The nesting wood pigeons don't help, either.
I kept hosing it down every few days, but today when I gave it a proper wash, the seeds have left dull patches. I have tried Autoglym polishes which have helped, but not solved the problem completely. Does anyone found anything that works? I have used Turtle Wax Colour Magic on a red car which restores the colour well, but I'm not sure how good the black will be. Any suggestions will be gratefully received (apart from 'Don't park under a sycamore tree'). |

Pine pitch
Same problem here with the Pine trees, I do park away from them, but with the high wind the pitch is everywhere...So I bought a car cover I know is a pain to instl. and remove, but the results are great!
