Power Steering Steel Line

I need one of the steel lines that goes from the rack back to the rack. Can't be purchased from BMW. I can buy a used rack for $150 and salvage a line, but I was wondering about any ideas on how to build one?

Copper pipe is an alternative that is easier to use if you need to custom build a new pipe line, however, un an unlikely event it can be damaged a bit easier.

Thanks, I make copper-nickel brake lines, but where do you get copper pipe the diameter of the ps line that can handle the high pressure?

Obviously these pipes can be bought in a shop.
I had a copper brake line on my 5er that was about the same size of original brake line.

edit: my apologies, I thought you are asking about brake lines. Can not comment on power steering this much as I haven't any experience making lines for it. But what I can add is my PS line looks very corroded but still functions well.
