BMS JB4 Stage 2 Install Question

For those who have installed a JB4 Stage 2 tune on their X1 Xdrive35i (N55), did it come with and require CAN wire (posi-tap splicing) for the install?

No need for that.... The CAN comes off and you just twist the wire and put the CAN back on..... its very easy. I recommend getting a hairdryer to heat it up a bit to unstick the glue on the CAN.

This is the only reason I would go JB3 instead of JB4... This car is a BMW not some POS Honda Civic... IF this is going to be your car for a long time and you live in areas with snow or a lot of rain you better bet on something eventually going wrong with your electrical.
