Need help about the Run Flat and the suspension

Hi, My X1 hit the road curb at a high speed (about 60 mph I think...). Only the right front wheel and the right rear wheel hit it vertically. I heard a kind of loud sound and the car jumped...

After that, none of them were punctured (I was really surprised...), and the tire pressure system showed the pressure is OK. No warnings.

I didn't feel any difference while driving it, the tires looked good, the balance was good, the suspension looks good, no strange noise.

but I was still worried about the tire and suspension system, so I brought it to the dealership, they test drive it (at a high speed and run on bumpers) and told me no worry, it was good.

Should I have a thorough inspection on the tires and suspension system? I really wonder how strong they are...

Get an alignment. Check that the wheels didn't crack.

Needless to say, don't hit curbs again!!!

If your car is tracking straight down the road and your steering wheel is still centered then you're wasting $$$ with an alignment, IMO. Visual inspection of the tires/wheels is fine both inside and out so it might be best to pull them off the vehicle.
Usually a broken belt or any damage to a tire is easily seen. A crack in a wheel would probably cause a slow leak.

haven't got the alignment, cause the car tracked straight when my hand left the steering wheel...
What I am worried about is: if the hit would cause an internal damage to the suspension or wheel that I can't see...

Yes I still feel good about the car...
I didn't see any damage on the tire, probably because I hit the curb straightly. Then it get a greater contact surface to disperse the pressure... But the suspension system bore great force...

Tracking straight or not, if you drove over a curb, your alignment is off. Either your wheel is cracked or it isn't. Either your alignment is off or it isn't. Cheap to check both.
