haha, i just told him i wasn't interested in the $10,000 loan he was offering. I recognize his voice and he's the same guy that called me last year.. I have his number saved so if he calls next time I'm gonna string him along and then change my mind..

That's funny, we went there on a business trip in PA. The waitress sat down at our table and talked to us for over 30 min. Is that normal? It does sell more beer.

Yes. Very normal. They sure as hell aren't going to get bigger tips just by serving a beer and walking away, now would they. |

I just had a hockey stick shipped to work. When I brought it out to the car, I slid the box through the ski pass, and the ski bag completely fell out onto the rear seats. Upon calling the dealership to see what I need to do now, they said that the entire vehicle must now be replaced, they don't simply fix a ski bag that has fallen off. While I understand that BMWs are expensive to maintain and repair, now I have to have my au pair take time off from watching my son, and go and pick up a new car. Seems a bit unreasonable that the dealership doesn't have a valet sales department....

His children are all grown, so he doesn't have an au pair to do this work for him. I was there to fix his computer, and kindly offered to drive the new car around, if he needed it broken in before any road trips. |

So they took my credit card info and said they will overnight me instructions on how to put it back. Once again, they don't have anyone available to drive the instructions over to my office. |

The last time he asked how much, I told him $20. He handed me $50. This last weekend I went over and removed the fax portion of his HP printer and selected the solo printer as his default on his laptop. Again he dropped $50 in my hand. I aint going nowhere

Back in the 90's, I backed a RWD rental car into a ditch, in rural Quebec. We went door to door, asking if somebody could help us, and nobody spoke English. My buddy and I scratched our heads, and a lightbulb turned on. If we take off our Toronto Maple Leafs jerseys, and hold out Andrew Jackson, maybe we would be able to communicate. Yep, suddenly a farmer was right there with a pickup and chains and towed us back onto the road in < 5 min.

Trying to order brake pads and it said free shipping. Get to the final part of the checkout and it added $34 for shipping. Now I need to find my assistant and tell her to look again for a better deal.

But I let my assistant handle stuff like windshield replacements. There is always this argument about OEM Saint Gobain Sekurit BMW, vs. just Saint Gobain, vs. replacement glass. I get too angry going through the hoops to get the OEM. The assistant just puts it on speaker phone, doesn't get all riled up, and she gets er did. |

I ended up doing it myself anyways. She pulled up the shopping cart, but all she had in there were pots, pans, and new clothes cleaning equipment. Clearly her priorities are in the right direction, just a little misguided.
I ended up finding some Hawk ceramic front and rear pads for about $180 shipped with promo codes and free shipping, so I'm relatively happy about that. It's only a DD, so as long as the car stops and isn't loud, I suppose I'll be alright. |

Well, after paying that dealership to overnight me instructions on putting the ski bag back, I decided to try to do it myself, knowing that my assistant is at Breckenridge through next Wed. It was really hard to figure it out, but I managed to snap it back in place pretty easily. I'll be asking my assistant to get my CC credited for those instructions on how to put the ski bag back in place, $495 is ridiculous. I can't believe the first dealer told me the car needed to be replaced and didn't have a sales valet.
