Not feeling it. Why is Chris constantly yelling all his lines?

Not watching it. Ever. Hope it flops horribly and BBC begs the old crew to come back and gives them a fat check. It was their number 1 show. Gotta be costing them dearly. And all because some pissant suck head making 30k a year decided to piss off the star of the show.

It's a sad day in the world when you have the number one show in the country and your producer upsets you one day on location and you happen to accidentally punch him in the face and you get fired for it.

Meh. The best part about the show was Chris Harris doing his thing in the Ariel, and that wasn't even really part of the show.

Almost everything was just past tropes redux. I'm really not feeling it. Chris Evans is awful.

Pretty juvenile and petty way to look at it. Besides, if you punched a co-worker in the face what do you think would happen to you? We all can't act like a bunch of divas and expect to get away with it, even if you're the host of the most popular show on TV.

I watched it, I enjoyed it just as I figure I'll enjoy The Grand Tour with the original three hosting that one on Amazon this fall. Top Gear is definitely different now with the familiar crew gone, but that doesn't mean it's bad. Still doing fun shit in cool cars.

EDIT: As an aside...if Gordon Ramsey was a host on TG I'd watch the shit out of that show. I just have a feeling he'd be a hilarious host based on his interview. Plus he really is a huge car nerd.

If this show would have been in the US, they would have probably had the producer apologize to Jeremy for getting in the way of his fist (just like when Dick Cheney shot that guy in the face and the guy who got shot apologized).

They should have just killed the show rather than get new hosts because it will never be the same.

The Grand Tour airs this fall.

I think it'll be like any show on Prime/Netflix where the entire season will be available immediately.

I don't think so. If this show were in the U.S. Clarkson probably would have gotten fired following one of his politically incorrect statements / antics well before the timing of the incident that actually got him fired.

Saw it....not the biggest fan.

Similar format, same writers. Which was weird because the back and forth was *VERY* obvious in its script.

I like Matt as a presenter although cocky. Chris Evans is just a whole other level of different.

US Top Gear took about 5 or 6 episodes to get into their groove.

I'll give this show a few episodes to see how they do, maybe a season.

At this point a lot is left to be desired.

Also, the stars talking about each other? WTH was that?

Don't know who Chris Evans was but just watched 15 mins of the new show and turned it off. Dude has an annoying voice, too overly ecstatic (fake), loud as shit, and the commentary sucks. Seriously Top Gear, hire me as presenter and I will turn the show around.

Surprisingly, Leblanc wasn't as terrible as I thought he would be... Let me clarify though... Matt Leblanc scripted and in the studio?? Cringeworthy... Matt outside the studio and going off script?? Entertaining and it felt more real... Chris evans I did not care for very much... And the soft subtle (okay maybe not subtle) digs at the former cast, didn't care for it much either...

I would watch it if they brought Gordon Ramsey back... In a heartbeat... Plus, he's a big car but... I mean come on, not one but TWO LaFerraris?!

Hated the interactive audience though... Sheesh...

Quit after 2 or 3 episodes, it was awful for me. The dialog was cringe worthy
as was the 1:1 copied format and the Stig jokes... yikes. Is it worth revisiting after they settled in? The hosts were pretty charismatic.

I've always been a big fan of Gordon Ransey. That guy tells it like it is and I really like his TV shows. Awesome dude. Would love to meet and hang out with him some day.
