GAME of THRONES: Season 6

Just saw this article while it doesnt mean squat it does insinuate that the key people might be around for season 7 and 8.

The humor about the number of shows in the next 2 seasons is kinda crappy if true:

HBO has not specified the size of the order for Season 7, but speculation has been that both Season 7 and Season 8 would be shorter than the standard for the show 10 episodes, possibly seven episodes (Season 7) and six episodes (Season 8).

HBO said that it doesn’t discuss contract negotiations.

The move helps secure the key GOT cast for the series’ final run. However, I hear it does not guarantee that all five characters will survive til the end as the show’s last episodes are yet to be written. I hear the contracts of the other regulars who landed raises alongside the Big 5 in fall 2014, have not been redone yet.

I’d heard that the previous major GOT cast contract renegotiation in 2014 netted close to $300,000 an episode for Harington, Dinklage, Clarke, Headey and Coster-Waldau heading into Season 6 in exchange for the actors giving the network an option for a seventh season.

Now in a similar fashion, the stars are securing a major new salary increase for Season 7 as they also sign on for a possible Season 8.

I had heard that the last 2 seasons would be shorter than normal. I assume that is due to more CGI work for the dragons, wights, and such. Kind of a crap reason given what they're pulling in, IMO.

They've also gotta generate all their own material for the most part. Up until about half-way through this season they had the books to work off of.

Which "Army Group/Clan" do you think would win in a 10 against 10 or 100 vs 100 fight?

1. Unsulied
2. Dothraki
3. Wildlings
4. Knights Watch
5. Lanisters
6. Other

Each warrior, knight, soldier in these armies posses their own technique!

My vote goes slightly to Unsullied.

I would say unsullied, they seem to be the only ones with an actual formal training program.

The rest of the armies mostly perform like this isn't really their day job.

I think the answer depends on a few different things:

#1. Environment
#2. Battle size - my answer would be different for 10 vs. 10 as opposed to 100 vs. 100.
#3. Any of them on horseback? I feel like half the advantage the Dothraki have is that they are all mounted.

Lyanna Stark, Ned's sister and of Rhaegar Targaryen, Danny's older brother.

Essentially - the next heir to the throne in line of succession.

The destruction of the septum was the most calculated thing I've seen in the series. Entire story lines tied up or wiped out in one fell swoop. Masterful!!
