Guernsey spotting

Taken the X1 over to Guernsey for a week. Great car to drive around as a holiday ride so far, though a little large for some of the smaller roads... when buses are on them!

Spotted 3 local X1s today.

Blue one at Chouet
Sliver one on Rohais
Black one in the new Waitrose car park... Almost identical to mine

That would have been me - couldn't resist parking behind you. Mine's an xDrive 2.0. I did think to stop to compare notes but thought that might be slightly odd, even for Guernsey.

I know of one other black one, though starting to see more around in general. I find it fine size wise, though obviously with me living here I get a bit more practice, especially on the single track lanes.

Enjoy your stay, the weather is lovely at the moment. Come up to Torteval and do the Scarecrow trail tomorrow (on foot) - it's worth doing.

I took a look when I drove out and saw the Xdrive badge You should have said hello when you walked past. I've been coming to Guernsey since I was 1 year old, so I'm well used to the people by now.

We're off to a BBQ on Sunday at a friends house near Grand Havre. The 'Gills' if you know them?

I'll keep my eyes peeled for you until we depart for the UK on Wednesday.
