Intermittent flashing passenger air bag

A few times now, I have noticed the light for the passenger airbag flashing intermittently. There will be nothing more than an iphone and ipad in the passenger seat to potentially trip the sensor that tells the car that someone is sitting there. I think it has done it when nothing is in the seat too. Has anyone else had this happen? I will be calling the dealership in the next few days to discuss.

I saw the same thing happen last week on mine and over the weekend my passenger reported that the seat heater was cycling on and off. I am wondering if it is something as simple as a loose connector between the seat and the floor.

I've noticed mine flicker from bright to dim. The seat was empty. It's only done this once that I have noticed.

I have seen this happen a good few times. Also when i had a small bag of groceries in the front seat it thought there was a passanger in it and i had to buckle the seat belt. bt any ways i am going to bring this up the dealer when i get my 15,000 mile service done.

I've noticed it randomly happening over the last couple months, as well. Strange, but hopefully a minor issue with the light and not the sensor.

Ok. I will ask the dealer but if a lot of people are seeing it,it is probably not a real problem, just a glitch. I say that hoping that I don't get in a wreck with my wife in the passenger seat.
