Where are x1s produced for the USA??

So I just got off the phone with BMW NA and the person on the phone informed me that the x1s are made in the USA plant?? I know that they are being produced in Germany for the USA. Was there a change for 2014??

I believe that all the X1's for the US are made at Leipzig. The South Carolina plant does not make the X1's, and I don't think they plan too for a while. They are currently building an addition which I think is going to be for the X4.

Thanks for confirming what I thought. I was just confused by what the rep from BMW NA told me over the phone.
