I know reading a paper on compressor blade failure doesn't sound like a whole lot of fun to most people, but check out 'Case B' to give you a better idea of what I'm talking about then go drop some knowledge on them.

If they argue that an aircraft engine is subjected to much higher stresses just tell them those engines are built to much tighter tolerances, quality control standards, and inspections than the snail you put on a car yet they still fail.
